- Emotion and how we channel our energy
- Passive, aggressive and passive-aggressive communication
- Respecting our own needs while respecting others

We’ll explore:
- How everyone experiences the world through their own lens
- How thoughts, feelings, experiences, fears and past pain shape that lens
- Why our words and actions don’t directly control someone else’s emotional response
- Separating what belongs to us from what belongs to them
- Taking responsibility for how we communicate without taking responsibility for their reaction
- Learning to let the ball stay on their side of the fence

We’ll explore:
- Words, tone and body language
- Using clear “I feel…” language
- Describing behaviour rather than judging someone’s identity
- Being specific about what actually happened
- Removing vague, exaggerated or judgemental language
- Understanding how someone’s own wounds can affect how they interpret us
- Finding the balance between clarity and respect
- Using the assertiveness benchmark to check ourselves when we’re told we’re being “too much” or “aggressive”
My Journey

Hey there! I'm Hamza 😄 For most of my life, I was a massive people-pleaser.
I found it incredibly difficult to say no. I believed that always saying yes, avoiding conflict and putting everyone else’s needs before my own - made me a kind person!
I abandoned my own voice, ignored my needs, and my health began to suffer.

I spent years overthinking conversations, carrying guilt that wasn’t mine, and struggling to advocate for myself without feeling selfish.
That led me on a journey to understand what assertiveness really is. Learning how to communicate honestly, set healthy boundaries and speak with confidence while still treating others with kindness and respect.
Today, alongside my counselling training, I work with clients 1-1 to help them better understand their communication styles, navigate difficult relationships and find a way of expressing themselves that feels authentic rather than forced.
These workshops are built around everything I wish I’d understood years ago.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. I offer coaching and skills-based training, not therapy. Together we'll focus on communication, boundaries, assertiveness and emotional understanding in a practical one-to-one setting.
Not at all. The workshops provide a useful framework, but you can also book tailored one-to-one sessions focused entirely on your own situation. Each workshop can be taken independently.
That's completely okay. We can have a conversation first and decide together what would be most useful for you.
Yes. I aim to offer a neuro-affirming space where you don't need to mask or explain the way your brain works. While I don't present myself as an autism specialist, many clients appreciate working with someone who understands these experiences.
Absolutely. Some people come with one specific situation they'd like to work through, while others choose to continue with ongoing sessions.
